Hayling United were beaten 2-1 by Wessex League premier division leaders VTFC at the College Ground on November 11.
Graham Lindsey showed why he is up there with the league's leading scorers by easing his way through to ram the ball home on 35 minutes, cancelling out Warren Hunt's opener for the visitors.

Former Pompey striker Hunt continued to look a potential match-winner until he limped off with a groin strain, leaving Kevin Brewster to net VTFC's winner.

Hayling's Ben Buckland was sent off for a second bookable offence in the closing stages.

Manager Matt Parr's team have struggled in the league in the last month, following defeats against top sides Poole Town, Hamworthy and Brockenhurst

But the losses have failed to dent manager Matt Parr's belief his side can still finish in the top six in his first season in charge of the Humbugs.

"We were terrific against Brockenhurst, but just couldn't score," said Parr.

"If we can play like that every week there is little doubt we can finish in the top six."
